There are many things to do here. You can enjoy the river, by taking a pleasure boat from Dartmouth to Totnes, or, if you prefer to be more independent, there are boats for hire from Dittisham Quay. A regular ferry service runs between Dittisham and Dartmouth, and between the village and Greenway Quay.
There is access from the quay to the National Trust property of Greenway house and gardens, formerly the home of Agatha Christie. For walkers, the Dart Valley trail is closeby which leads to Dartmouth & Totnes, and the South West Coast Path is not far.
You can do one of many painting courses at the nearby Coombe Farm Studios.
Cott Farm is a marvellous base for the Woodlands Leisure Park, the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club or for exploring the beaches along the South Devon Coast. Within the hour, Dartmoor, with its impressive tors and famous villages may be visited.
